TWO more people have died due to Covid-19 in Tobago.
A release from the Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development, Tobago House of Assembly (THA) on Wednesday stated that the deceased were two women, 62 and 71 years old, both with comorbidities.
There were now six deaths in Tobago due to Covid-19.
The division stated that there were 12 new Covid-19 cases on the island with 100 active ones.
Clinical update for Tobago as at 8am on Thursday:
- Discharges – 4
- New cases –12
- Active cases – 100
- Samples submitted to the TRHA and other local sites to test for Covid-19 – 5,090
- Overall samples that tested positive – 350
- Overall number of deaths – 6
