PRESIDENT of the San Juan Business Association Vivek Charran is calling on Government to reconsider the opening hours for some businesses such as book stores.
He made the comment during an ieTV News and Views interview on Wednesday.
Charran said while the book industry is grateful for the allocated operating hours of Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, at least one additional hour or the option of weekend opening is welcomed, especially with back to school shopping on the cards.
