SOME people are using more than one immunisation card in order to get a preferred Covid-19 vaccine as a booster shot.
The Ministry of Health is investigating such reports said Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh.
Speaking at the ministry’s Covid-19 update on Monday, Deyalsingh said the ministry’s legal department would be investigating the situation.
He said, “If there are any legal ramifications for these people we will deal with that then.”
He encouraged persons with such information to pass it on to the relevant authorities.
The minister added that with the proposed introduction of digitised vaccination cards, such issues should be diminished.
