SEVERAL business organisations have decided to withdraw from the Confederation of Regional Business Chambers (CRBC).
And they are distancing themselves from views and opinions stated of the CRBC.
In a joint statement on Monday, the chambers announced that they will no longer be members of the CRBC.
They stated, “The views expressed by the CRBC does not represent the views of individual organisations.”
The business groups withdrawing from the CRBC are: the Arima Business Association, Chaguanas Chamber of Commerce, Couva/Point Lisas Chamber of Commerce, San Juan Business Association, Trinidad and Tobago Petroleum Dealers’ Association, the Petroleum Dealers Co-operative Society and the Sangre Grande Chamber of Commerce.
They stated that they have collectively decided to withdraw from the CRBC as it does not align with the goals and objectives of their individual organisations.
