MINISTER of Health Terrence Deyalsingh confirms that he was involved in a road traffic accident on Thursday morning.
A release from the Ministry of Health stated that the accident took place around 10 am at the traffic lights at Sea Lots near the Port-of-Spain Market.
The release stated, “The accident took place at the traffic lights near to the Port of Spain Central Market. No one was hurt and a report was made at the Besson Street Police Station.
“Both parties cooperated fully with the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
“The Minister thanks all for their concern.”
A video with Deyalsingh crossing the road to go to a car that was damaged at Sea Lots has been circulating widely on social media.
The minister is known to drive himself.
