A TEMPORARY traffic disruption is expected to take place along the Tarouba Link Road until next month.
The Ministry of Works and Transport in a notice stated that the disruption was necessary to facilitate road rehabilitation works from Tarouba Overpass to Naparima Mayaro Road, San Fernando.
The traffic disruption came into effect on Monday and is expected to be continued until April 7 between the hours of 8 pm and 4 am.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers, comply with instructions from police officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic, be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site, drive with caution on all milled surfaces and drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
The Ministry of Works and Transport has apologised for the inconvenience.
