FIRE broke out at popular entertainment spot MovieTowne in Port of Spain on Tuesday.
It occurred just before midday.
MovieTowne on its social media pages posted at 11.42 am, “We would like to make the public aware that there was an incident (fire) at MovieTowne. We thank our maintenance, security and the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service for rectifying the situation with minutes.”
MovieTowne also stated that no person suffered any harm or injury and that it was still open to the public.
“You can feel safe to visit us today!” MovieTowne assured.
MovieTowne has dubbed Tuesdays “Terrific Tuesdays” where patrons can enjoy their movies for a cheaper price.
