A baby girl perishes in a fire at her Chaguanas home on Wednesday.
The body of Harley Persad, 13 months, was found in her bedroom despite attempts by her father and grandfather to save her.
Neighbours formed a bucket brigade to no avail as the flames were too much to overcome.
The incident occurred at Ramlakhan Trace, off Soogrim Trace in Endeavour around 11 am.
