Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh is recovering after visiting the hospital for a “persistent cough” on Sunday.
A report indicated that he had visited the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope.
A release on Sunday stated, “The Ministry of Health informs the public that the Honourable Terrence Deyalsingh, Minister of Health visited the hospital earlier today for a follow-up visit after contracting bronchitis in December 2024.
“While Minister Deyalsingh is recovering, the follow-up visit at the hospital is due to a persistent cough which is being addressed.
“Minister Deyalsingh extends his gratitude to all who have expressed concern for his health.”
