Inclement weather has forced the closure of all libraries in Tobago.
On Tuesday, the Tobago Library Services issued a public advisory stating that libraries would close for the day due to the weather.
They stated, “Tobago Library Services wished to advise the public that the Scarborough Library, Roxborough Library and Charlotteville Branch Library will be closed to the public today, Tuesday 10 June 2025 due to the inclement weather.”
Trinidad and Tobago had been experiencing inclement weather due multiple passing Tropical Waves, which brought heavy rain and thunderstorms. The 2025 Hurricane Season officially started on 1 June.
