THE funeral service for the late independent senator Deoroop Teemal will take place on Wednesday.
The venue for the service is the Divali Nagar site at Narsaloo Ramaya Marg, Endeavour Chaguanas.
Teemal served as President of the National Council for Indian Culture (NCIC) up until his death on Sunday.
The public is invited to attend the service which begins at 9 am followed by cremation at the Caroni Cremation Site at 11.30 am.
Teemal, born on September 5, 1956 would have turned 69 next month.
His death is not juts mourned by his family, friends and colleagues but the many whose lives he touched either directly or indirectly.
Tributes have been made by parliamentarians, heads of organisations and individuals.
