EIGHT Venezuelans have been arrested for varying offences including larceny.
Reports are that they were held hours after a report was made to Mayaro police.
The eight Venezuelans were arrested by PC Jaikaran and PC Wong of the Mayaro CID.
Items recovered included a 75-inch curved television, a number of other electronics, jewellery, alcohol, clothing and other items.
Two of the Venezuelan nationals were charged jointly for housebreaking and larceny and two others were charged for receiving stolen goods. The rest are awaiting intervention from the Immigration Division.
