PASSENGERS travelling on Caribbean Airlines are being urged to continue wearing a mask on board although it is no longer law.
The airline in a media release acknowledged the new public health regulations that came into effect on Sunday which states that a person is only required by law to wear a mask when visiting a medical hospital or clinic, public or private.
Caribbean Airlines stated, “However, as further outlined by the Public Health Authorities, wearing a mask on board is highly recommended as an additional layer of protection against Covid-19 and other infectious diseases.
“Caribbean Airlines will maintain a strict sanitisation programme for its aircraft and premises, in the interest of the continued safety of its customers and employees.”
