THE Ministry of Works and Transport will be hosting a stakeholder consultation to discuss the introduction of a Checkered Band Maxi Taxi System to improve access to transportation in rural communities.
This was stated in a post on the ministry’s Facebook page on Wednesday.
The consultation will take place at the Tabaquite Community Centre from 2pm.
The post stated, “We invite you to be a part of this consultation to learn more about and give your feedback on the development and provision of a safe, reliable, effective, efficient and fully integrated Checkered Band Maxi Taxi System that will meet the needs of travel and transport in suburban and rural communities.”
