ARANQUEZ – POLICE have shot and killed a man who was acting violently in Aranguez, a short time ago.
Reports indicate that 31-year-old Rishi Rampaul was disturbing the peace and threatening to burn down a house on Rambhaju Street. Residents called police.
Officers of the North Eastern Division responded and Rampaul, who was armed with a cutlass and a flammable substance in bottles, attacked the policemen and was fatally shot.
