CUSTOMERS of First Citizens Bank (FCB) will now have to pay an additional fee to transfer money online to other local banks.
In an email to customers on Monday, FCB said that that effective June 17, a processing fee of $1.25 will apply for every successful payment made to other local banks via First Citizens Online and Mobile Banking via their mobile app.
“The fee helps us ensure our commitment to providing the very best online banking services to you, our customer,” FCB stated.
FCB also advised customers that to ensure successful payments to other local banks that they review the payment guidelines accessible via the Digital Banking menu option on their website.
FCB said they remained committed to providing quality products and service and appreciate the business and continued support.
