A high winds alert which was issued for Monday into Tuesday has been discontinued.
In an update on Tuesday, the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) stated, “The potential for impactful winds has diminished significantly.
“Wave heights are forecast to gradually decrease around T&T, reaching up to 2.0 metres in open waters and less than 1.0 metre in sheltered areas.”
However, the public is asked to continue to monitor the TTMS via official channels for the latest updates.
