THE official date for the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) elections is January 25, 2021.
Nomination Day is January 4, 2021.
A media release stated that after consultation with Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and Chief Secretary of the THA Ancil Dennis, President Paula-Mae Weekes has fixed the dates.
Twelve seats are expected to be contested.
The People’s National Movement (PNM) and the Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) led by Watson Duke have already issued their list of candidates who will be contesting the election.
