RICK Ramoutar is the 2024 Chutney Soca Monarch.
He took the title with his popular song Luuuzzaarr at Skinner Park, San Fernando on Saturday night.
Defending Monarch Daddy Chinee was second place while Rawytee Ramroop placed third.
Ramroop, the highest-placing female, was also crowned Queen of Chutney Soca and got a prize of $100,000.
Ramoutar, also known as Rick Ram, won $400,000 for first place.
