PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley once again has Covid-19.
The Office of the Prime Minister posted on its Facebook page that Dr Rowley tested positive on Friday morning.
“The Prime Minister who is fully vaccinated and received two boosters is experiencing very mild symptoms,” his office stated.
Dr Rowley will remain in isolation in keeping with the current Covid-19 protocols. The prime minister has cancelled all of his engagements over the upcoming period.
However, the Emancipation function carded for Friday at the Diplomatic Centre will be hosted by other members of the Cabinet.
Last year April, Dr Rowley tested positive for Covid-19 for the first time. At the time he was not vaccinated but he subsequently received the Sinopharm vaccine.
