A 17-year-old boy is suspected to have drowned after going for swim near the Flower Pot beach in Pointe-a-Pierre.
He has been identified as Iverson Thomas of Sunset Drive, Plaisance Park, Pointe-a-Pierre.
Police said Thomas and a 19-year-old friend went to the beach to bathe around 9 am on Tuesday and he got into difficulty and has not been seen since.
The police and the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard have been contacted.
