OFFICE of the Prime Ministers says labour union activities will be declared essential services under the current Covid-19 measures.
In a release he said, “With the cautious reopening of the commercial economy and in anticipation of increased working business activity in the coming days, Prime Minister Dr the Hon Keith Rowley has instructed that All Labour Union activities now be designated as an Essential Service.
This will come into effect immediately upon publication of the relevant Regulations today May, 12, 2020.”
