The murder comes just about a month after a previous gun attack against the attorney on Monday, 28 September.

According to police reports from the earlier incident, Singh had been reversing his white BMW iX into his Penn Trace residence around 7.35 pm when he noticed a man dressed in blue coveralls and a cap emerging from bushes opposite his property.

The suspect reportedly pointed a firearm in Singh’s direction and fired several shots. Singh managed to escape the ambush uninjured, while the gunman fled the scene on foot.

Investigators have not yet confirmed whether Tuesday’s killing is connected to the September attack. Enquiries are continuing.
